1. Price and Lead Times

Standard shipping for almost all of our products ( with the exception of certain saunas) is 100% free anywhere in the continental United States (lower 48 states). Delivery normally takes 1-3 weeks for in-stock items.

Lead times are impacted by various factors so if you would like to get an exact lead time for a specific product you are considering purchasing, please call us at 305-701-4029 and we'll happily provide you with that information.

If you purchase a customized spa product with special finishes and features, the lead time can be closer to 3 months as it will be custom made to your specifications. 

Unlike small items and accessories sold by most mainstream Internet stores, spa products ( hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges) are bulky and have many parts that require special handling and shipping methods to ensure they arrive in brand-new condition. Because of those special shipping methods, our products usually take longer than smaller items to ship. 

2. Delivery Options

At Designer Home Spas, we understand the importance of delivering your items safely and efficiently. We offer two types of delivery services to cater to your specific needs: Curbside Delivery and White Glove Delivery.

Curbside Delivery:

Our standard delivery option, Curbside Delivery, caters to large and heavy items. With this service, your order will be delivered to the curb at the end of your driveway. Please note that this service does not include setup, assembly of items, or removal of packaging.

Upon arrival, the delivery driver will unload your items and place them in an accessible location outside your home. A representative from our shipping company will contact you in case of an unsuccessful first delivery to arrange a new delivery date. Deliveries are scheduled Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., and a signature is required for every delivery.

We advise you to inspect your items upon delivery and make note of any damages on the delivery receipt. If you choose to refuse delivery due to damages, please write “Refused due to damages” on the delivery receipt.

White Glove Delivery:

For a more comprehensive delivery experience, we offer White Glove Delivery. This service includes package removal, placement of your spa product in your desired room or area, as well as the unpackaging of the product. 

Our professional delivery partners will ensure that your items are handled with care and that your space is left clean and tidy upon completion. Like Curbside Delivery, White Glove Delivery requires a signature upon delivery and is available Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

    3. Pre-Installation Tips

    So you've decided that you don't want to pay anyone for installation and that you can handle it on your own! We would like to provide a few helpful tips of what you should do prior to installation to make sure everything goes smoothly. 

    Safety First

    As much as you want to handle the entire installation process on your own, some tasks still need the assistance of a professional. Make sure that you have a level, flat surface that can sustain your product's weight in the area you'd like to place it.

    Electrical requirements are extremely important! Ensure that the voltage/amps of the spa product is something that your home can handle, and if it can’t you will need the assistance of a professional electrician. If you do not possess the proper training and knowledge, do not attempt any of these jobs as the consequences could be dire.

    Measure Your Space Before Ordering

    Put that measuring tape to good use and get the dimensions of the space where you will be fitting your spa product. Once you have these measurements, cross reference them with the minimum dimensions needed for the product you are thinking of purchasing. This information can be found in the technical specification sheet or installation guide for the product in the key documents section of our website. 

    While you still have that measuring tape handy, check the width and height of all your doorways leading to the room where the spa product will be installed. If it cannot fit through the doors leading to your desired area, it cannot be installed there! Some products will also need an extra few inches for access panels, so keep that in mind when choosing the right size for space.

    Damaged Packages

    Before signing for the shipment and releasing the driver, please carefully inspect the shipment for any visible damage. Open the boxes and inspect the products (Countertops, chimney pieces, etc.) for damages or missing parts. If damages are found, reject the shipment and ask the driver to take it back, or note the damages on the Delivery Bill before signing for the shipment and releasing the driver. Contact customersupport@designerhomespas.com within 48 hours of receiving or refusing a damaged shipment for further instructions.
